Nano Beads are quickly becoming the most popular hair extension method used by hairdressers. Being one of Brisbane’s only salons now offering nano bead application, we are excited to share some interesting facts about why the nano is just that great!
The nano bead is 90% smaller than the traditional hair extension bead, eliminating painful pillow time & sore red pressure bumps from having too much weight on each strand of hair.
The clever u-tip technology used in the bond of the extension is fantastic for protecting hair loss or tension alopecia as the u-tip will slide out from the bead or bond of the extension, rather than damaging the hair follicles on the scalp.

NANO BEAD MAINTENANCE
Nano maintenance involves the gentle removal of the extensions with our specialized Hair pliers, the bead is opened and the extension is removed. Once all hair extensions are out, we lightly comb over the scalp to remove any of the silicone linings from the bead. We will then thoroughly shampoo your hair with a deep cleanser, and blow dry straight. Your hair extensions will be reconditioned with a treatment infused in by the steam pod and then reapplied into your hair with fresh nano beads. We will then cut them back into shape if required. This is a gentle process that is not damaging on your hair. As an alternative you may choose to come in with clean hair and we will just do the same process, but replacing bead and moving extensions up row by row, saving the cost of having to have a wash and blow-dry. A great alternative if time and money is a concern.
This is recommended every 6-10 weeks to keep your hair in the best possible condition.
